Hello! I'm trying to get information on my ancestors prior to them coming to the US...

Francisco Alessio (b. 1857 Buia Italy) married to Anna Calegiro (b. 1865 Buia Italy)

Parents of Francisco:
Constantino Alessio (b. 1836 Buia Italy) married to Elizabeth Barnaba (b. 1820 in Buia Italy)

All settled in Morny (Paradise Ridge) Tennessee (Davidson County - Nashville). They came to the US in about 1895.

Also looking for parents & ancestors of Anna Calegiro (Angelo Calegiro and Theresa Vizzo)

This is a 1920 cenus for Frank and Annie and family...

Two grandchildren are also living with them. By 1930, Annie was a widow. She lived with her children, and 1 daughterinlaw as well as grandchildren. The last names are Citti

There is also a 1910 census for Charles Alessio with Citti on it but the images are poor.

Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, that is them. One of my gr-grandfather's sisters married a Citti. Also, Francisco committed suicide in the 20's, so that all matches up.

I am hoping to follow back to Italy, but not really sure how to go about it - if you have the info on that family tree, that would be great! I have not yet bought a subscription to ancestry (just been using rootsweb so far) so I haven't seen the tree you mentioned.
