I have links to the Quattromini name from Pellegrino Parmense my great grandfathers sister married Allesandro Quattromini in London 1880 some English spell their name Quatromini

Would it have been better for an illigitimate bride to record herself as Ignoti .I think i may have found an ancestor who was born " Patre Incognito " (Father Unknown ) in 1859 but all certs and documents after her 1885 marriage have her as "Ignoti" (Parents Unknown )
