Ciro Bruno- Capua, Caserta, Campania

Post by erinrf »

I was contacted by a family member in Italy who is looking for his uncle, Ciro Bruno. Ciro was born on January 11, 1914. His father was Agato Bruno born in 1876 (his father was Nicola) and Agate’s wife was Maria Ciancio, both of Capua.

The only records we have for Ciro after his birth was when he was a Holocaust POW and he was listed on the Holocaust website. Ciro was also a crew member on ships sailing from Italy to the United States. He was listed on two manifests as a crew member in October and November of 1957. Noted on the manifests, it stated that Ciro had worked on the ships for 10 months. There are no other records that we have been able to locate that would give us any clues about where Ciro lived and died.

Any assistance in finding Ciro Bruno would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much

Erin :)
